He has held executive and board-level roles in both public and privately held pharmaceutical companies, guiding global strategies from product development through market expansion.
His career began in clinical pharmacology and advanced through pharmaceutical technology and plant management before spending recent decades shaping commercial growth as Group Chief Commercial Officer and Board Member. During this time, Andrea successfully led execution of more than 100 licensing and sales partnerships, delivering multi-billion-dollar revenue impact across international markets.
Known for strategic vision and operational insight, Andrea brings deep expertise in forging commercial alliances, navigating regulatory environments, and scaling business models in the healthcare sector. His hands-on experience building distribution networks, negotiating complex partnerships, and launching products across diverse markets makes him uniquely qualified to guide business development strategy.
Andrea maintains active membership in several global pharmaceutical organizations and formerly served as President of the Associazione Farmaceutici Ticinese (AFTI), providing access to extensive industry networks that benefit client partner scouting and alliance building.
Beyond industry, Andrea demonstrates longstanding commitment to education and social impact as one of the founders and former board member of Everest Academy in Lugano, Switzerland, and contributor to educational initiatives in Brazil through the Betania Franciscan Fraternity.
He holds a Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacy from the University of Pavia, a Postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Pharmacology from San Matteo Hospital, and a Master of Business degree from London, UK.
